Part III: SERVICE SPECIFICATIONS 

1. Basic Blowing/Plowing Service:  Your driveway will be plowed with a minimum trigger of 3” of new snowfall or more*. If drifting occurs the client must notify Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. so we can make an additional trip. Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. may have to make multiple trips during a snow storm.
   **If there is 2” or more of wet snow (slush) and temperatures are expected to drop below freezing, your driveway may be plowed at our discretion to prevent a thick buildup of ice.

   **Please note Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. reserves the right with discretion to service a property below the 3" trigger based on season conditions.

2. Types of Contracts:

   -Unlimited Season: Covers the whole season with no trip limits. 3" trigger or more of snow still applies.

   -Limited Season: Covers whole season up to 17 trips, then switches to per trip for any trips over 17. Additional trips will be prorated at 1/17th of the contract price, rounded up to a whole dollar amount.

Part IV: SERVICE POLICY

1. Your plowing program will be a continuous service from year to year between November 15 and April 1. You may discontinue services at any time by writing, or calling the office before October 15th for the upcoming season.  For your convenience, this contract will automatically renew in one year terms. Before the beginning of each season, a notice of all scheduled services and price changes will be sent to your residence.

2. It is the CUSTOMER’S responsibility to ensure that the driveway is free of any objects that may interfere with plowing. Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. will not be responsible for damage caused to or by such items left in the driveway with the exception of automobiles. An extra fee may be charged if foreign objects impede the work which is to be performed by Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. such as garbage cans and recycle bins.

3. Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. cannot always plow right next to, behind, or in front of cars left in the driveway. If the driver feels it is too much of a risk, areas around cars may not be plowed. Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. also has the right to stay 3 feet away from cars, garage doors, and any other obstacles that may be in the driveway.

4. For everyone’s safety, please use caution when approaching, while Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. employees are using equipment. It is especially important to keep children and pets inside the house or business while the driveway is being plowed.

5. In the event the client expands the driveway and/or sidewalk, Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. shall not be responsible for the care or maintenance of such additional improvements without a written change order which may influence pricing.

6. In the event of severe weather, Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. may be forced to wait out a storm until it is safe to travel. The client is aware that weather conditions in the area may change rapidly and without notice. Changes in weather conditions are considered to be part of nature and Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. assumes no liability for such.

7. In the event that there is excessive snow, Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. reserves the right to use heavy equipment to move snow around. Heavy equipment work will be billed at $150/hour with a half hour minimum.

8. All quotes/estimates are valid for 21 days after the date of proposal as indicated above.

9. All work will be done in a vigilant manner. However Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. is not responsible for any damage done to driveways and/or sidewalks this includes any displaced gravel for stone driveways.

10. Any damage that occurs to the lawn from plowing will be repaired in the spring by discretion of Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc..

11. Damages must be reported by April 1st and resolved at the discretion of Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. by May 1st. Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. is not liable for damages reported after April 1st. Damages need to be reported within 48 hours or Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. may not assume liability of such damages.

12. Hazards: Customer is aware that plowing may not clear their property to bare pavement and that slippery conditions may prevail even after plowing. Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. assumes no responsibility for slip and fall accidents or vehicular accidents as a result of this naturally occurring condition.

Part V: PAYMENT OPTIONS

1. ACH Payments (NEW!) GO PAPERLESS! We will automatically charge the account on file, for your plowing installment. This is the FASTEST AND EASIEST payment method

2. Automatic Credit Card payments. We will automatically charge the credit card on file, for your plowing installment

3. Cash/Personal/Business/Bank Check/Money Order 
   Upon receiving your invoice you can pay by check or use your bank’s web bill pay system.

Part VI: PAYMENT TERMS

1. Invoices will be rendered by Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. 2-3 times per season. . The first invoice will be rendered at the time the contract is generated and payment will be due on receipt. The second invoice will be sent out January 15th and is due by January 31. Lastly, a third invoice will be sent out at the close of the season for any additional charges that might have resulted from additional trips or other fees. All invoices will have payment terms listed on them. Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. reserves the right to suspend service when payments become more than 15 days past due.

2. Invoices that exceed $750.00 will be charged a 3% convenience fee to complete payment via a credit card. 

3. A late fee of $15.00 will be added to your account for every 15 days the payment is overdue.

4. This agreement price has been negotiated and agreed upon, based on the Client’s grounds, as they exist on the agreement date.

5. A service charge of $25.00 will be charged for any returned checks.

6. Customer accepts full financial responsibility for all charges, including any collection costs, and attorney fees incurred to collect on their account.
